PM slams Guenter Grass over anti-Israel poem

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu harshly criticized German author Guenter Grass for comparing Israel and Iran in a poem he wrote. He said the comparison says very little about Israel but a lot about Grass. "It's Iran, not Israel, that poses a threat to world peace," Netanyahu said.

"For six decades Mr. Grass concealed his past as a member of the Waffen SS. It comes as no surprise then that he declares the only Jewish state in the world as its greatest threat." (Attila Somfalvi)
