Report: US deploys 2nd aircraft carrier to Persian Gulf

The US Navy says it has deployed a second aircraft carrier to the Persian Gulf amid rising tensions with Iran over its nuclear program, Fox News reported.

According to the report, which cited a Navy official, it is the fourth time in the past decade that the nuclear-powered USS Enterprise and the Abraham Lincoln carrier operated at the same time in the region. (Ynet)
