Report: Syrian forces continue shelling despite ceasefire deadline

The Syrian regime's forces bombed a town in the province of Aleppo, Syrian activists said, on the day that the ceasefire mandated by a joint UN-Arab League plan was expected to go into effect.

No withdrawal of Syrian forces has been witnessed so far, Rami Abdel Rahman, president of the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, said. (AFP)
