Police: Dutchman who was shot in Bat Yam suspected of assaulting cops

The police announced that a Dutch national who was shot in Bat Yam on Monday is suspected of assaulting policemen, Magen David Adom personnel and security guards at Wolfson Hospital, where he was taken for treatment.

Earlier, hospital staff reported that the man is recovering from surgery. No further details about his condition were reported. (Gilad Morag)
