State to pay NIS 270,000 to student attacked at school

The Education Ministry will compensate a male student who was attacked by a female student at a Netanya school, and suffered damage to his eye sight. The attacker threw a metal rod that hit the eighth-grader's in the face.

The State is to pay the student NIS 270,000 ($72,000) as part of a court-approved settlement. (Raanan Ben-Zur)
