Greek PM confirms general election on May 6
Greece's Prime Minister Lucas Papademos has confirmed that an early general election will be held on May 6.
Papademos told a Cabinet meeting Wednesday that he would formally request the election at a meeting later in the day with President Karolos Papoulias.(AP)
