Assad to religious clerks: crisis coming to an end
Syrian President Bashar Assad said in a meeting with religious clerks Wednesday in Damascus that the crisis in the country is coming to an end. He promised to restore the peace to Syria.
Assad blamed the Western countries for wanting to harm Syria and bring down the regime as part of a plot against it. "We don't fear them, we're stronger," Assad said, according to a quote by one of the clerks. (Roi Kais)
