Netanyahu calls to resume direct negotiations
Israel welcomed the Quartet foreign ministers' announcement, Wednesday, to take steps to improve the atmosphere for peace negotiations, without preconditions.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is expected to propose in his meeting with a Palestinian delegation next week to raise the ranking of the negotiations teams, and resume direct talks with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas. This massage is also to be passed through Netanyahu's special envoy, Attorney Yitzhak Molcho, who is expected to meet with Abbas and deliver a missive stating Israel's position regarding future arrangements with the Palestinians.
