Rocket hits Shaar Hanegev; no injuries

A rocket exploded in an open area at the Shaar Hanegev Regional Council. No injuries or damage were reported. It was later reported that a blast had been heard but no hit was spotted.
Meanwhile, Israeli forces received an alert indicating that the electric fence on the Egyptian border had been breached, but security forces ruled out the possibility of an infiltration. (Neri Brenner)
