S. Sudan official: Clashes with Sudan spreading

A South Sudanese military official says Sudan's air force killed five civilians in aerial attacks over a disputed town and that fighting is spreading.
Col. Philip Aguer said Monday that Sunday night's attacks also seriously wounded nine people and hit oil wells in the town of Heglig. He also says that the town of Bentiu in South Sudan's Unity State was hit and that the conflict has spread to several southern states bordering Sudan. (Reuters)
