Iran's foreign minister is warning Gulf Arab neighbors to avoid escalating regional tensions over a strategic island controlled by Iran but also claimed by the United Arab Emirates.
The semiofficial ISNA news agency quotes Ali Akbar Salehi as saying the dispute could become "very complicated" if Gulf states intensify their criticisms.(AP)
