Gunter Grass hospitalized in Hamburg

German Nobel literature laureate Gunter Grass who was recently declared persona non grata in Israel was hospitalized on Monday with heart problems at a hospital in Hamburg, reported German daily newspaper "Bild."
Grass published a poem in which he criticized Israel's nuclear program and labeled the Jewish state a threat to "already fragile world peace" over its stance on Iran. (AFP)
