Ex-chief IDF rabbi: Decision to dismiss Eisner disappointing

Former IDF Chief Rabbi Avichai Rontzki said that he is disappointed by IDF Chief of Staff Benny Gantz' decision to relieve Lt. Col. Shalom Eisner from duty following the incident in which he hit a pro-Palestinian activists with a rifle.
"The decision does send a good message," Rontzki told Ynet. "The junior officers might take a narrow-minded approach and avoid contact during these sorts of events," he said. (Ron Notkin)
