Paramedic on stage accident: Greater tragedy was prevented

Moti Goldstein, a Magen David Adom paramedic who responded on the scene of the stage structure collapse on Mount Herzl said that the accident could have resulted in greater tragedy.

"We found the young woman on the ground near the light fixture. The soldiers told us it fell on her and they pulled her out," he said, referring to the 20-year-old who was killed. "They told us that a greater tragedy was prevented because a big group of soldiers left the area shortly before the collapse." (Omri Efraim)
