The IDF Spokesman announced that an officer was killed in the collapse of a lighting fixture on a stage at Mount Herzl in Jerusalem during rehearsals for the Independence Day ceremonies.
The statement read: "Two soldiers sustained moderate injuries and five were lightly wounded in the incident. The soldiers were evacuated to hospitals throughout the city." (Ynet)
