A soldier serving in a military base in the south sustained moderate injuries when his weapon accidentally discharged as he was cleaning it.
A soldier standing nearby was lightly wounded when he was hit by a ricochet. The two were evacuated to the Soroka medical center in Beersheba. The IDF is investigating the circumstances of the incident. (Yoav Zitun)
