Egypt demonstrators block main Cairo bridge

Hundreds of Egyptian demonstrators have blocked a main Cairo bridge over the Nile river to back their call for an end to military rule.

The bridge blocking was a prelude to a larger gathering. Many Egyptian groups, including Islamists, plan to join a Friday demonstration calling for a quick end to military rule. (AP)
