Carmel fire: Prison Service guards get posthumous honor

A ceremony is being held at Yad Binyamin to award the Distinguished Service Medal posthumously to the Prison Service guards who were killed in the Carmel fire. Internal Security Minister Yitzhak Aharonovitch was present at the ceremony.
Some 44 people were killed in the disaster, the largest fire in Israel's history, including 37 Prison Service guards. (Ra'anan Ben-Zur and Shahar Chai)
