Report: Abbas, Fayyad at odds over message to Netanyahu

Palestinian sources reported a disconnect between Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas and Prime Minister Salam Fayyad, caused by the latter's refusal to pass on the PA government's official message to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu last week, according to the London-based newspaper Al-Quds Al-Araby.
The sources said that senior Fatah officials told Abbas that Fayyad has "crossed a red line." Fayyad reportedly said in closed talks that he refused to pass on the letter because he "isn't Fatah's mailman." (Elior Levy)
