Missing soldier's father: Majdy's alive, I don't believe prisoners

Nazmi Halabi, the father of Majdy Halabi, an IDF solider who has been missing since 2006, told Ynet that the recent news over the location of his son's remains, divulged by two prisoners, is false. He noted that there were previous instances in which prisoners disclosed false information, evidently in an attempt to secure deals.
"My son is alive," he said. "As of now, I don't have any information that indicates otherwise... I hope he returns home safely with the rest of the missing soldiers." (Ahiya Raved)
