Car bomb wounds 3 in central Damascus

A car bomb wounded at least three people in the central Damascus district of Merjeh on Tuesday, a pro-government Syrian television channel said, blaming "armed terrorists".

The channel said the explosion also damaged buildings in the area, which is a popular shopping district just outside the Old City. (Reuters)
