The Beersheba Magistrate's Court has extended by seven days the remands of two security inmates from Ketziot Prison and a Nablus resident who are suspected of bribing IPS guards, committing national security violations and conspiring to commit a crime.
Over the past six months, IPS guards have been reporting that the inmates intend to recruit a staff member to help them smuggle cell phones into the prison. An undercover operation led to their arrest. (Ilana Curiel)
