Abbas spokesman: Deeds must back up wishes

Nabil Abu Rudaina, spokesman for Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas responded Wednesday to an interview Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu gave to CNN, saying that "the wish for an agreement isn't enough; it must be backed by deeds."

Abu Rudaina added that reaching a true and fair peace agreement would require an immediate stop to construction in the settlements, the evacuation of the settlements and recognition of Israel's 1967 borders. (Elior Levy)
