IDF Chief of Staff Benny Gantz okayed a decision to grant an honorary citation to First Sergeant Major Moshe Naftali, a Golani combatant who was killed by friendly fire in a terror attack near Eilat last August.
"Naftali's quick and determined actions prevented the terrorists from carrying out an attack on a much wider scale," Golani Brigade Commander Ofek Buchris said. (Yoav Zitun)
