Scores of Israelis celebrate Independence Day in parks, national sites

Hundreds of thousands of Israelis headed out to the parks to celebrate Independence Day with the traditional barbeque. Many are also taking advantage of the fact that 64 tourist sites are open to the public and are waiving their entrance fee.
