Peres to foreign diplomats: Israel must initiate peace

President Shimon Peres, who held a welcoming reception on Thursday for foreign diplomats stationed in Israel on occasion of Israel's 64th Independence Day, said that Israel must make peace with the Palestinians in order to build a future for its children.
Peres further said that Israel must be the one to initiate peace at all times. (Omri Efraim)
