Barak on Iran: US acknowledges Israel's right to defend itself

"The American administration supports Israel's security needs. We have differences of opinion regarding the ticking of the clock – Israel's clock is ticking faster," Defense Minister Ehud Barak said during a reception held at the Air Force House in Herzliya in honor of Independence Day.

"The administration understands that Israel has a right to defend itself. Israel and its government must make the decisions and bear the responsibility," he said. (Yoav Zitun)
