Mofaz: prepare for general election in October
Opposition chairman MK Shaul Mofaz (Kadima) said that if Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will not negotiate a new date for earlier elections, his party will propose a bill to bring the election forward. Opposition parties Meretz and Labor plan to do the same. Mofaz proposed October 16th as a possible date for election. (Attila Somfalvi and Moran Azulay)
