Boaz Nol, one of the leaders of the struggle to abolish the Tal Law said that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told the "suckers camp" representatives during a meeting he held with them that he would try to formulate his own law that would be similar to Yisrael Beiteinu's proposal and added that "we will try to have it passed in the current (Knesset) session.
When the representatives asked whether the PM was aware of the political consequences of such a move, Netanyahu answered that "if necessary we will go through elections for it." (Attila Somfalvi)
