Gov't unanimously appoints new head of public diplomacy

The government on Sunday unanimously approved the appointment of Liran Dan as head of public diplomacy.

Dan, who for the past eight months has served as director of the Prime Minister's Office communications unit, will be the fifth person to fill the post of public diplomacy in three years. His predecessor, Dr. Yoaz Hendel, left the position in February. (Attila Somfalvi)
