PM says he will intervene if IEC delays high-speed Internet

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu has criticized the Israel Electric Corporation's management of a national project to set up infrastructure for high-speed Internet access.

Speaking at Sunday's cabinet meeting, Netanyahu said that if Israel Electric continued to delay the fiber optic project, which promises to provide high-speed Internet to every household, he "would not hesitate to intervene." (Avital Lahav)
