Dagan: Iran attack excuse for nuclear proliferation

Former Mossad Chief Meir Dagan said attacking Iran is a stupid idea, as it could ignite a regional war with Iran and Hezbollah.
Dagan added that Syria might also enter such war, using it as a diversion to solve its own internal problems. "One cannot now how fighting will start, nor how will it end," said Dagan. According to the Ex-Mossad Chief, a pre-emptive strike will provide Iran with a justification to acquire nuclear weapons, claiming it must defend itself from Israel. (ynet)
