Lieberman: Election should be held as soon as possible

Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman addressed speculations that the general election is to be pushed up, saying in an interview with Ynet: "It's final. Now it's just a matter of dates. We don't have any qualms about going to election as early as May 14."

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's Coalition partner added that "If we must go to election, we might as well do as soon as possible. The moment it gets momentum and everyone is talking about the election, and everyone is dealing with politics, there's no use in continuing… Every additional month in this situation deals a blow to the market, and the entire government system is paralyzed."
