35 dead, 75 feared missing in India boat accident
Police say a packed ferry boat has capsized in heavy winds and rain in remote northeastern India, leaving at least 35 people dead and 75 others feared missing.
Assam state police chief J.N. Choudhury says the boat was carrying about 200 passengers, but details were sketchy because bad weather and the remoteness of the area hampered communication. (AP)
