Organizers of the 2012 London Olympics launched their new website Monday. The website offers information on the 205 participating nations and aims to keep fans appraised of the summer games' events.

The site, however, omitted one important detail for its page about Israel – Jerusalem.

Each nation's page included information about its capital city, but no such city was listed for Israel. Jerusalem was listed as the capital of Palestine, despite the fact that the de facto Palestinian capital is Ramallah.

Organizers were reportedly made aware of the problem not long after the website was launched and it was promptly rectified.

As of now, the Palestine page notes no official capital.
