Lieberman affair: Indictment filed against former envoy to Belarus
The State Prosecutor's Office has filed an indictment with the Jerusalem Magistrate's Court against former Israeli Ambassador to Belarus Ze'ev Ben Arie as part of the Lieberman affair. A plea bargain reached between the parties will see Ben Arie confessing to obstruction of justice. The sides are seeking a sentence of 4-6 months of community service.
The indictment and plea bargain were approved by Attorney General Yehuda Weinstein. (Aviad Glickman)
