CTB lowers threat level of Turkey travel advisory
The Counter Terrorism Bureau has lowered the threat level of the travel advisory to Turkey to the lowest level following an updated status evaluation.
"There is an ongoing threat of terrorist attacks against Israeli and Jewish targets in Turkey," the advisory now states. "Accordingly, it is the CTB's recommendation to avoid non-essential visits to the country or at least take precautions and remain highly vigilant." (Attila Somfalvi)
