Barak: I believe Livni will resume her political activity
Defense Minister Ehud Barak commented on Tzipi Livni's resignation from the Knesset on Tuesday. "Livni is an Israeli patriot who acted responsibly in international arenas during her stint as foreign minister and served Israel faithfully as a minister," he said.
"Livni has always known how to separate politics from Israel's political and security interests. I believe she will continue to contribute to the state in the political arena," he added. (Attila Somfalvi)
