Senior Likud officials: PM to announce early elections on Sunday

Senior Likud officials said that at Sunday's scheduled Likud Party meeting, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu would announce early elections.

The date under discussion is September 4, which means that the Knesset would disband within days of the announcement. If election is held on this date, the Likud primaries will take place in mid-June. (Attila Somfalvi)
