IDF: Probe into Cast Lead deaths refutes accusations
The Military Prosecution has submitted in conjunction with the B'Tselem human rights organization its reasons for closing a Military Police probe into the deaths of 21 members of the al-Samouni family in Gaza's Zeitoun neighborhood during Operation Cast Lead.
Major Dorit Tuval, Deputy Advocate (Military) for Operational Matters wrote that "the investigation findings completely refute the accusations made against IDF soldiers by various elements, by which the attacks were intentional and aimed against civilians." (Yoav Zitun)
