Barak: Independence Party to contend in upcoming election
Defense Minister Ehud Barak told reporters in Tel Aviv that his party, Independence, will contend in the upcoming election.
"We have come to dispel the rumors alleging that we are 'safe' or that we won't run," he said. "We will run independently, with the Independence Party. An election is not an elimination episode on a reality television show." (Attila Somfalvi)
