Karmiel cop convicted of assaulting teen
The Haifa Magistrate's Court has convicted a police officer, Amir Rabach, who served at a Karmiel police station, of assaulting a 17-year-old arrestee.
The incident occurred three years ago, when the victim was arrested on suspicions of drug possession and an intended break in. An argument between the cop and the teen quickly turned violent when the former punched the latter. The judges cleared Rabach of a different assault charge involving the same teen. (Ahiya Raved)
