Comptroller seeks legal proceedings against Ashkenazi's former aide

Ynet has learned that State Comptroller Micha Lindenstrauss has approached the State Prosecutor's Office with a request to examine the possibility of launching a criminal investigation against former IDF Chief of Staff Gabi Ashkenazi's bureau chief Colonel Erez Weiner over his involvement in the Harpaz affair.
Weiner had petitioned the High Court against the comptroller in order to get the documentation related to his case. The comptroller's draft report on the affair did not include a recommendation to launch an investigation. (Aviad Glickman)
