Medical officials in Egypt said a soldier and two civilians have been killed and at least 130 others were wounded during clashes in Cairo.
Thousands of Egyptians took part in demonstrations against the disqualification of candidates from the presidential election. Hours after the street battles erupted, Egypt's military council imposed a curfew on the areas where clashes erupted and vowed in a televised statement to take legal action against "those involved and instigators."
