Peres congratulates Bibi on unity deal
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu phoned President Shimon Peres to update him about the unity government agreement. Peres endorsed the move and congratulated the PM.
The president, who is currently in Canada, said that a national unity government is good for the people of Israel, and that the wellbeing of the state requires broad national unity ahead of the challenges ahead. (Attila Somfalvi)
