Cabinet asked to approve Mofaz' ministerial appointment

Shaul Mofaz' appointment as a government minister has been put up for the other ministers' approval in a televote. Earlier, the chairman of Kadima signed a deal marking the party's accession into the Coalition.

Mofaz, who has been named a minister-without-portfolio and a vice premier, said earlier that he refused to accept positions that were offered by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. (Attila Somfalvi)
