Labor asks Knesset to appoint Yachimovich as Opposition leader

Labor Faction Chairman MK Isaac Herzog has submitted the party's official request to appoint MK Shelly Yachimovich as Opposition leader.

Knesset Speaker Reuven Rivlin informed the Knesset presidium of the application. His bureau said that the decision on the matter will be announced on Wednesday, and noted that so far Yachimovich is the only candidate. (Moran Azulay)
