Knesset Speaker Reuven Rivlin addressed the establishment of a unity government, expressing fear that "the new political reality will create complex parliamentary problems when it comes to the relationship between the Coalition and the Opposition.
"The trouble will yield private legislation that won't be coordinated with the government and will make it difficult for the Opposition to be a real counterweight to the Coalition," Rivlin said during a Knesset presidium meeting. "I'm afraid it could cause the parliamentary system to degenerate within weeks." (Moran Azulay)
