Inspector who lied about events before Beersheba murder fired

The Beersheba Municipality fired on Wednesday a city inspector who lied about the events leading up to the weekend murder of Gadi Vichman, saying that he and a female police officer arrived at the scene two hours before Vichman was stabbed to death.
The police officer has been suspended from duty. (Ilana Curiel)
