20,000 flock to Mt. Meron for Lag Ba'omer celebrations

Some 20,000 people have already arrived at Mt. Meron in northern Israel for the traditional Lag Ba'omer celebrations, which will kick off at 8:30pm as the first bonfire is lighted.

Police expect a total of 400,000- 500,000 people to converge on Meron this evening. (Maor Buchnik)
